Bilateral Trade Between Russia and China in January-October 2018 year

According to General Administration of Customs People’s Republic of China in January-October 2018 year bilateral trade between Russia and China up on 28.2% to $87.2 billion, 55% of which – Russian export and 45% – Chinese import.

Aggregate Chinese foreign trade turnover in January-October 2018 amounted $ 3.8 billion (+16.1%), icluding export – $ 2 billion (+12.6%), import – $ 1.8 billion (+20.3%). 

Major Russian’s export to China it is a mineral products, 97% of which accounts petroleum and petroleum products.
More than 50 % imported from China items it is a machines, equipment’s and devices.

According Federal Customs Service of Russia, China holds a 1 position among Russian’s trading partners. The share of China is about 18.8 % of the Russian’s external trade.
